There are several ways to answer this question. One of them is to say, we want to feed and care for injured and displaced creatures that are not able to care for themselves and aren’t getting care from other sources. But this Just describes what we want to do. We really need something more abstract to build on this solidly concrete foundation. So we must add color and tell stories that reach into the human heart, as well as the human brain.
This is who we are, This is why we are here. This is what we do. This is the ONLY reason we do it. If you want to be one of us, this is what you do. This is the ONLY reason you are here and the only reason you do this. Most people just don’t understand the need, and that is why it is so difficult to fund such an effort. Few people are willing to donate money these days because the new tax laws don’t make it very beneficicial to do it. Furthermore, very few people are willing to work for free, so volunteers are about as scarse as donors. And all of this is why we openned the Feed a Kitty Foundation Gift Shop.
So we became a corporation (OSFPC.com) doing business as The Feed a Kitty Foundation Gift Shop, to raise funds that allow us to help you help us help other charities help homeless and displaced animals of all types, kinds, and breeds.
